Rocky Mountain Hike, Bike & Raft (GAA) - 14 days

An amazing two-week active adventure in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Raft Class IV rivers, hike to immense glaciers, cycle remote parks and travel high into the Rocky alpine. Watch for caribou, elk, moose, deer, bighorn sheep, mountain goats and bears, and learn about First Nation culture. Even sleep in a Tepee!

Itinerary

Day: Description:
1 Arrive Calgary
2-3 Jasper
Depart early for a breathtaking trip up the Icefields Parkway, where you can often see bear, mountain goats, elk and deer. On Day 3 go for an adrenaline-filled raft down the roaring Class IV Kakwa River.

Take in the stunning scenery while descending to the plains around Kamloops. In the evening arrive in the historic and friendly town of Revelstoke, nestled in Mt. Revelstoke National Park. Get an early start on Day 5 for two days of heart-pumping, mountain biking adventures (equipment and guide provided).
7-10 Kootenay Mountains (4B, 4L, 4D)
