The start of spring in the northern hemisphere brings a time of birth and renewal. Green shoots begin to appear and the temperatures start to rise. Around the world there are festivals celebrating rebirth and the end of winter. In the USA and Canada, Spring Break sees thousands of college kids hit the beaches to party. In the reversed seasons of the southern hemisphere, Australia is entering autumn, although the northern part of Australia is in the Tropics so it really only has two seasons—wet and dry.
